1.Darjeeling (West Bengal)
The History of Darjeeling covers the history of Darjeeling town and its adjoining hill areas belonging to Sikkim.Darjeeling is a town and a municipality in the Indian State of West Bengal.The best time to visit Darjeeling 'October to March :October is when the monsoon season ends and a slight chill is observed in the weather.Winter season begins in full swing and it is during the months of mid-November to January.The predominant religions of Darjeeling are Hinduism and Vajrayana Buddhism,followed by Christianity.Dashain,Tihar,Buddha Jayanti Christmas,losar,etc.are the main festival.  Part of the state of Sikkim.The British using the area as a sanitirium. Found that the climate provided excellent tea cultivating conditions and soon began to grow tea on the hills of Darjeeling.Darjeeling tea remaind a world -renowned export from Darjeeling.




 2.Manali(Himachal Pradesh)
Manali Hill Station is one of the most visited Hill Stations in Himachal Pradesh.The small town,with a population of 8,096 is the beginning of an ancient trade route to Ladakh and from there over the Karakoram Pass on to Yarkand and Khotan in the Tarim Basin. Bir Billing is a village located in the west of Joginder Nagar Valley .Bir Billing is a small village surrounded by big Mountains famous for Paragliding in Himachal Pradesh. 4.Nainital
Nainital is a famous tourist destination of India,attracting hundreds of both domestic and foreign tourists every year.The Nainital temple at the banks of Naini lake holds a lot of significance especially among the Hindus as it is believed to be one of the 64 Shakti Peeths,where some parts of the burned body of Shti fell here while being carried by Lord Shiva.Nainital Lake ,a Natural freshwater body, situated amidst the township of Nainital in Uttarakhand State of India.Nainital has temperate summers,maximum temperature27.c during which its population increases more than fivefold with an annual influx of tourists predominantly from the plains of Northern India.



5.Gangtok 
Gangtok is the Capital of the northern Indian state of Sikkim.Established as a Buddhist pilgrimage site in the 1840,the city became capital of an independent monarchy after British rule ended,but joined India in 1975.Gangtok is the famous capital town of Sikkim.This beautiful land is well known as the land of monasteries.The place has gained greater importence amongst the Buddhists after constructing the Enchey monastery in the end of the 19th century.Gangtok tourism is held together strongly by its broad roads,discotheques, famous educational institutes,fast food centers,posh markets,hospital and many others that make it a perfect tourist spot.

6.Srinagar
Srinagar is the largest city and the summer capital of the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir.It lies on the banks of the Jhelum River, a tributary of the Indus,and Dal and Anchar Lakes.Engulf yourself in local culture by embracing your sea legs and renting one of the wooden boats called shikaras for a daytime or twilight cruise.On land, stroll through the terraced hillsides of the 400-year old Mughal Gardens.





7.Mount Abu
Mount Abu is a hill station in western India's Rajasthan state, near the Gujarat border.Set on a high rocky plateau in the Aravalli Range and surrounded by forest, it offers a relatively cool climate and views over the arid plains below.In the center of town,Nakki Lake is a popular spot for boating.Mount Abu is declared closed area since 1965. Mussoorie is a hill station and a municipal board in the Dehradun District of the northern Indian state of Uttarakhand.It is located about 35 km from the state capital of Dehradun and 290 km north from the national capital of new Delhi.Mussoorie, Popularly known as the Queen of Hills, this charming hill station, 34 kms from Dehradun is Situated at an altitude of 2003 mts in the Garhwal hills.Mussoorie is one of the beautiful hill stations in India and the most frequently visited.Also major Hindu pilgrimage sites like Kedarnath, Badrinath, Gangotri, Yamunotri,Haridwar,Rishikesh are not far from this place.
