1.Kangra 
During the ancient times the name of Kangra was 'Nagarkot' or 'Bhimkot'. The other name of Kangra was 'Trigarta' during the Mahabharata time.The plain areas and hill areas of Trigarta were called as Jallandhara and Nararkot respectively.The town of Kangra was founded by Katoch Kshatriya Rajputs of Chandervanshi Lineage. The Katoch Rajas had a stronghold here,with a fort and  rich temples.Kangra district is situated in Western Himalayas between 31.2 to 32.5 N and 75 to 77.45 E.The Shivaliks,Dhauladhar and the Himalayas from north-west to south-east.The district is bounded by Chamba to the North, Lahul and Spiti to the northeast,Kullu to the East, Mandi to the southeast,and Hamirpur and Una to the South.Tomb of Lord Elgin is in Dharmsala.Kangra Fort was built by the royal Rajput family of Kangra State, which traces its origins to the ancient Trigarta kingdom.





2.Pinjore
It was created in the 17 century. Pinjore, a town in Panchkula district is known globally for the Yadvinder Garden and the HMT factory.Built by Aurangzeb's foster brother Fidai Khan, Yanvinder Garden contains seven terraces descending from a hill.Mughal Rajasthani style of architecture is represented by Shish Mahal, Rang Mahal and Jal Mahal . Pinjore festivals such as the Pinjore Baisakhi festival in April and the Pinjore Mango Festival in june and july are major attractions at the gardens.The Garden and the temple complex laid in an open-air museum, set up by Haryana State directorate of Archaeology & Museums.



3.Nako(Kinnaur)
Nako is a village in the Himalayas of northern India, Located near the Indo-China border in the Trans-Himalayan region of Kinnaur district .Nako Lake is a high altitude lake in the pooh sub-division of the Kinnaur.Nako is found at the east end of Kinnaur Valley and can be called almost the last attraction on the way to Malling Nullah.Malling Nullah is located in between Kinnaur and spiti valley and one of the most happening travel destinations of Himachal Pradesh.As the village is very small in its area,one can easily explore the hidden gems of this village on foot.






4.Triund(Dharamshala)
Triund is the crown jewel of Dharamshala, situated in the laps of Dhauladhar Mountains,it has the perfect view of the Dhauladhar Mountainson one side and Kangra valley on the other.Triund is a very popular trekking spot .Triund attracts a lot of tourist every year from india and all over the world.Triund trek can be described as a tranquil trek which can be easily accomplished by almost all age groups.Triund is come at able for most part of the year except for when the byway to triund is cut off by heavy snowfall in the months of January and February.The best time for trekking is from March till May in first part of the year and September till December in the second half of the year. 






5.Kullu
Kullu is the capital town of the Kullu District in the Indian state of Himachal pradesh.It Is located on the banks of the Beas River in the kullu Valley about ten kilometres north of the airport at Bhunter.The city of Kullu was 1st mentioned with the Hindu epic .The Mahabharatum as Kuluta.The Town was shaped by Mukhar,the son of Vidura.It absolutely was recognized as avital town even throughout times of yore.Kullu district offers many attractions to the tourists.It has rich art and cultural heritage,lush green deep meadows,dazzling rivers,white capped snowy peaks and high mountains.

6.Hieun Tsang Memorial Hall
Hieun Tsang memorial is built in the memory of the great chinese traveler, hieun Tsang, who visited India during Gupta period.Hieun Tsang Memorial is one of the major tourist attractions in Nalanda.Seventh century Chinese traveler Hieun-Tsang visited Vadnagar,then known as Anandapura, twice.In 632 A.D. stayed in Anandapura and described the city as rich and densely populated.The people were wealthy enough to support rich culture,literature,arts,and religious centers of learning for Buddhist monks,and temple priests.




7.Chail Palace
The Palace Chail Built in1891,Chail Palace Maharaja's Palace is set in approximately 75 acres and has a truly regal setting with sepctacular views.Chail Palace wide variety of cottages, suites and rooms with different tariffs can accommodate every visitor who wish to savor this majestic hill station.Chail is 44 km from Shimla and 45 km from Solan. The Cricket ground and a Polo ground which is there at an altitude of 2,250m was owned by erstwhile royal family of Patiala.It is the world highest Cricket ground.








8.Kuthar Fort
kuthar Fort is at a small drive distance of both Subathu and Arki,which is hardly an hour away from the Shimla airport.kuthar Fort is one of the oldest forts in the Solan region,dating back to 800 years ago.The fort is believed to have been constantly renovated and added to over the centuries, it's newest structure being only 80 years old.Spread over sprawling acres,the majestic fort is surrounded by lush greenery and the typical misty air of the himachali region . 




9.Pragpur
The Kangra valley, where heritage village Pragpur is located,is panoramic and replete with history.It is the home of the famous Kangra school of Painting and probably the worlds -most certainly Indias-oldest ruling lineage comes from here.The area of Pragpur was part of the Principality of Jaswan whose chief,in the late 16th or early 17th Century charged a band of learned men, led by a Kuthiala sood, to find a suitable place to commemorate Princess 'Prag'of his royal lineage.
