 1.Vaishno Devi Temple(Jammu&Kashmir)
         Vaishno Devi Mandir is a Hindu Temple dedicated to the Hindu Goddess,located in Katra at the Trikuta mountains within the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir.To know the history of the temple we must go back to Treta yug when the virtuous people were tormented by the Asuras Ravana, Kumb-Karan ,Khardooshan Tadka and others.Shridhar was a very devout devotee of Maa Vaishno Devi.Once Maa took the form of a girl.The Girl asked him to organise a big feast for the devotees of Vaishno Devi Shridhar agreed and went out to invite people.He also invite Bhairav Nath,a sage,who asked him How he would make the arrangements .Bhairav Nath was surprised by the divine powers of the little girl and he followed her to the Trikuta hills.
                                                 


 2. Sun Temple In Konark
  The Sun Temple Kainapara oe the Periplus is an importent fort of the orissan coast.The most notable marvel of orissan art is the stately Sun Temple.Built  in C.AD1250, during the reign of the Eastern Ganga King Narasimhadeva.It was to enshrine an image of Sun,the patron deity of the place.The entire complex was designed in the form of a huge chariot drawn by seven spirited horses on twelve pairs of exquisitely carved wheels.The sanctum symbolises the majestic stride of the Sun-God and marks the culmination of the Orissan architectural style.The vimana of the deul has collapses,while that of Jagamohana and the nata-mandap are better preserved.The walls of the Temple contain superb carving of divine ,semidivine,human and animal figures amidest floral and geometric ornamentations. 






3.Jagannath Temple in Puri
The Land of Lord Jagannath,meaning "Lord Of Universe",is one of the most sacred pilgrimage spots in India.One of the four divine abodes lyingon four directions of the compass.The Jagannath Temple in puri was built apporoximately12th Century AD by king Chodaganga of the Eastern Ganga dynasty.The completion was later brought about by his descendant ,Anangabhima Deva,during the 12th century.The Temple is famous for its annual Rath Yatra,or chariot festival ,in which the three main Temple deities are hauled on huge and elaborately decorated temple cars.The Temple is sacred to the Vaishnava traditions and saint Ramananda who was closely associated with the temple. 







4.Amarnath Dham
Amarnath cave  is a Hindu shrine located in Jammu and Kashmir ,India.The shrine forms an importent part of Hinduism ,and is considered to be one of the holiest shrines in Hinduism.The caves is surrounded by snowy mountains.Amarnath Temple is a cave  situated in the Himalayan ranges.It is believed that Lord Shiva the secret of life and eternityto his wife Goddess Parvathi here.The Amarnath Yatra,in its present religious form,commences with the ceremony of 'Chari Mubarak,' at the Dashnami temple,Akhara,Srinagar.After the prayers,the yatri acquires a sort of walking stick.It has both physical and religious significance,physically,it helps the yatri in steadying himself on a snowy and slippery path,and ,spiritually ,it reminds him of his resolve at Amarnath Temple.




5.Dwarka
Dawarka is a small city and a municipality of Devbhoomi Dwarka district in the state of Gujarat in Northwestern india.The city Dwarkadhish Temple dedicated to Krishna was originally built around 2500 years ago,but was destroyed by Mahmud Begada rulers and subsequently rebuilt in the 16th century.In 200AD king Vasudev of Dwarka was defeated by Mahakshatriya Rudradama. Upon the death of Rudradama,his wife ,queen Dheeradevi,invited his brother Pulumavi, seeking guidance to rule.A painting depicting krishna's Dwarka made during akbar's reign,from the Smithsonian Institution. As an importent pilgrimage center for Hindus,Dawarka has several notable temples,including Rukmini Devi Temple,Gomti Ghat,and Bet Dwaraka.





6.Mathura
Mathura is a city in the North Indian state of Uttar pradesh.It is located approximately 50 kilometres north of Agra,and 145 kilometres south-east of Delhi.Vrindavana and Mathura are the most important places of pilgrimage for devotees of Krishna.krishna was born in Mathura and spent his childhood in Vrindavan.Lord Krishna is the most popular person here. Every square Foot of Mathura-Vrindavan is wrapped in timeless devotion to Lord Krishna, the lover of Radha and the cowherd-prince.





7.Haridwar 
Haridwar,214 km northeast of delhi, is at the vase of the Shivalik hills, where the Ganga, coming down from the mighty Himalayas,meets the plains.Amongst the many pilgrimage spots that are situated along the length of the holy Ganga,Haridwar,perhaps,is the holiest in the land.Literally translated,Haridwar means the Gateway to the abode of gods.
Har-Ki-Pauri
This is one of the most famous bathing ghats at Haridwar.The best time to visit this spot,is at sunset,when you can see the 'Aarti' of Ganga being performed.A daily ritual,it is a breathtaking sight,as thousands of earthern lamps light up the night.






8.Shirdi Sai Baba
Sai Baba of Shirdi, also known as Shirdi Sai Baba,was born Indian Spiritual master who was regarded by his devotees as a saint ,fakir,and satguru,according to their individual and beliefs.The famous Shirdi Sai Baba also presents several mysteries for his biographers.Sai wasborn at Pathri under NizamsDominion and moved over to shirdi as a grown up.Sai Baba has mentioned that he was a soilder for Rani of Jhansi(1857)and so his year of birth would have been perhaps between 1835to1840.
